The new premises is well equipped, well ventilated and has the greatest variety of precious metal plating tanks in the UK and Europe.

The Role
You will be working across our busy factory floor at this prestigious Aerospace company that has a reputation for high quality and superb finishes. As a Production Manager, you will oversee the work of our highly skilled professionals across our departments.
You will receive full support and any training that is necessary to realise your management potential in this specialist highly sought-after industry. You will learn the workings of the differing departments to understand their processes in a technical capacity and you will be adaptable to assist where necessary to ensure the work is completed.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer, you will be working on parts for luxury first class suites of airlines, Prestige automotive brands and super yachts, among other interesting, high-quality parts.
You will manage the production team to ensure that deadlines are met, and the work is completed to the best standard possible. Every morning you will attend a Production Meeting to plan out the work schedule and priorities for the day and for the week. It will be your responsibility to flow this down to the team and ensure that the departments meet the work schedule, facilitating workflow and dealing with any technical issues that arise.
You will liaise with the Office Manager and Work-In-Progress (WIP) planners to assess customer’s needs and with department heads to plan the completion of parts and expedite to meet customer deadlines. These deadlines are changeable and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances to meet our customer’s requirements is vital.
You will be passionate about achieving, and willing to work towards learning differing skills. You must be enthusiastic, approachable and be receptive to delegating work, and engaging with employees.
You must be confident in your abilities, in particular, your attention to detail in producing an outstanding quality product.
You will be able to demonstrate experience in management responsibilities. You will also be able to follow our management standards and represent the company direction and the senior management amongst our staff, remaining professional at all times.
Any experience in electroplating or metal finishing or surface finishing is desirable and would be highly advantageous.
