To all of our valued Staff, Customers, Suppliers and Friends,

We are writing to provide further information on our progress with rebuilding after the fire at our premises on Sunday 26th November 2023 and to release our targeted reopening date.

Our building contractors have continued their excellent progress, and the new floor within the plating plant has been completed and approved. From the week commencing Monday 12th August, we began to move tanks back into the plating plant, in accordance with our priority commissioning list. Our electrical contractors are continuing the electrical works and will begin to wire in the first rectifiers within the next few weeks.

As our reopening date draws closer, we wanted to issue further information for all customers so we can work together to plan our reopening work schedule effectively. We are officially declaring that we will reopen to customers on Monday 30th September 2024. We will be offering our standard 25 working day turnaround time from this date. We hope that we will be operational before this date, allowing us to run plating trials ready for production.

To help with scheduling, we will be accepting customer work on site from Monday 2nd September 2024 for initial preparation and polishing work. Thiswill hopefully help speed up the processing once we fully reopen. However, the quoted turnaround time will still be quoted as 25 working days from theofficial reopening date of 30th September. Customer work sent in for initial preparation and polishing prior to our plating reopening date may becompleted sooner than the predicted turnaround time given.
